Training, coaching & mentoring

We provide tailor-made training programmes for our clients. We work with you to pinpoint the exact training need and to design a course that is specific to your company, including realistic scenarios that delegates encounter day to day.

Our training workshops build new capability or grow existing ones, and span a wide range of topics including:

  • Effective communication
  • Presentation skills
  • Building relationships
  • Influencing skills
  • Effective negotiation
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Conflict management
  • Personal effectiveness
  • Time management
  • Stress management
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Adaptability, flexibility, proactivity
  • Accountability
  • Delivering results
  • Change management
  • Developing an effective team
  • Performance management
  • Feedback and development
  • Team performance
  • Setting team goals and objectives
  • Situational leadership

Our coaches ask questions to encourage individuals find their own solutions, rather than the coaches providing them. This helps learners to reflect, self-analyse and identify new ways forward. Learners can then try out new behaviours, based on their own values, preferences and perspectives.

We also recognize that some companies prefer to provide their own coaching, so we can also support staff to use a coaching approach with their teams.

We have developed a four-step coaching process, which follows our self-empowerment model:

``Every outcome in my personal and professional life depends on me.``

``I acknowledge the direction of change needed and my strengths and weaknesses.``

``I understand the need for change is not enough. A sense of urgency is necessary to motivate people to work on improvement.``

``Every large change starts with small actions that take us in the direction of our goal.``

Recognising how busy staff are, as well as personal communication preferences, we can deliver our coaching flexibly using a mixture of face-to-face meetings, Skype and telephone calls.

Mentoring involves a more experienced or knowledgeable person guiding a less experienced or knowledgeable person. True mentoring is more than just answering occasional questions or providing ad hoc help; it is an ongoing relationship of learning, dialogue and challenge.

We design mentoring processes to support staff who have the potential to move up into managerial or leadership roles. Each mentee receives a 360° evaluation and formal feedback, and is paired with a senior-level leader for a series of targeted interactions.
